Mactherapy is a small Psychology practice, operating on Macquarie Street in the CBD. We provide psychological services to children and adults Monday to Saturday.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic admin person to join our team.
The ideal candidate will cover all aspects of reception and administration duties, including:
Providing administration support to our Psychologists including booking clients, taking payments, sending invoices and processing Medicare rebates.
General admin duties, including answering the phone, greeting clients and being the first point of contact for client queries.
Liaising with psychologists, clients and referrers
Diary management (we use Halaxy)
General administrative support
Assisting the Director
General Office Duties including (archiving, scanning, filing and photocopying, mail)
Assisting the director
Maintaining the practice
The ideal candidate will have:
Competence in admininistrative duties.
Diary management experience.
Exceptional customer service skills
Experience working with Xero or similar
A desire to learn and grow.
Excellent English language skills
Great attention to detail.
Great communication and people skills.
A can-do approach to tasks.
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Flexibility in their ability to start early or finish late on some days (aprox 8.30am earliest 7.30pm latest finish)
Experience working in a medical/mental health practice
