Your new position
Reporting to the Principal Asset Sustainability Engineer, you will contribute to the management of existing and future assets to achieve water supply strategies and legislation obligations at least for the whole of life cycle. You will also provide discipline engineering in the delivery of process optimisation and minor improvements, including in response to emergent issues and risks. In addition, you will complete assessment for the definition of the sustainability of existing assets, using risk and criticality ratings.
This role is a 6 months temporary position.
To set you up for success in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, (preferably Mechanical) from a recognised tertiary institution.
Experience in Asset Sustainability planning for the effective management of existing and future assets to achieve water supply strategies and legislation obligations at least whole of life cycle.
Experience in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of risk-based maintenance strategies.
Working knowledge of OH&S, IMS and EMS requirements and associated legislation.
High level organisation and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities.
Demonstrated highly developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise, influence and negotiate with key stakeholders, external and internal clients, team members, regulatory authorities and consultation groups.

This position has been graded in accordance with Seqwater's EBA as an PO5 at $118,556 plus up to 12.75% superannuation.
