3 Executive Director roles within Crown Lands

 

Key strategic leadership opportunities within the Crown Lands Executive Leadership team. 

Crown Lands is currently looking to fill three brand new Executive Director roles to support the growth and development of Crown Lands into the future. 

  • Full time ongoing executive roles  
  • Based in a variety of locations across NSW by negotiation 
  • Salaries starting from $275k including superannuation, commensurate with experience 

Following the Machinery of Government in 2019 this is now an exciting time to join Crown Lands to make change happen. The new Executive Directors will work together with the Crown Lands Executive Leadership team to promote a positive culture and reputation for Crown Lands through the implementation of effective strategies.  

There will be a strong focus on driving operational and organisational change initiatives aligned to the Crown Lands strategic priorities in support of the State Strategic Plan. Hand in hand with this comes the streamlining of stakeholder engagement objectives, aligning it with the broader priorities and programs of the department.  

As much as the above is equally important across all three new roles they do also have their own specialised focus area: 

Executive Director, Customer and Systems 

  • In this role you will be leading and delivering improved customer systems and processes. 
  • You will have extensive experience establishing rigorous client service frameworks and systems.  
  • In this role you will be leading a new and innovative strategic and commercial portfolio aligned to the State Strategic Plan.  
  • You will have extensive experience in strategic planning and advanced stakeholder engagement and management.  
  • In this role you will be leading and managing regional operations with the primary focus on strategic planning and delivery of regional services. 
  • You will have extensive experience leading multiple regional operations and functions across a large geographic area. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR   

For these roles we are seeking highly experienced senior leaders with excellent strategic, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have a depth of knowledge in your area of expertise. Experience leading large teams and organisations through complex times of change to strive for optimisation.   

In addition to this we are looking for excellent stakeholder management with a focus on delivering excellence and world-class service.  

The key to success in these roles is your motivation to a core purpose of enabling your team, clients and the wider group to deliver outcomes exceeding the expectations of a complex group of stakeholders.

WHO ARE CROWN LANDS 

Crown Lands sits within the Housing and Property Group of the Department of Planning, Industry & Environment. 

Crown Lands are responsible for the management of NSW’s Crown land, covering 42% of the state, including parks, reserves, roads and cemeteries.  

Crown Lands manages several leases and licenses enabling the use of Crown land across the state for a range of commercial, agricultural, industrial, community, residential and private uses. We also manage the development, marketing and sale of Crown lands not required for public purposes. Crown land also manages Aboriginal land claims across the state under the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.
