Join a small office team in Hornsby with Perfect Hours, on site Parking, wonderful team mates and working with all age groups. The small business has been established for over 26 years and continues to grow with in the residential and commercial air conditioning industry. The right person for this position will confident, fun, happy and easy going willing to work with in our already established team and have a diverse range of skills.

Essential requirements and duties:

  • Data entry
  • Invoicing
  • Purchases
  • Proficient XERO skills 
  • Ability to be flexible in a small team 
  • Word/excel/outlook experience 
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent English, both verbal and written

General office duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones and responding to incoming phone calls and emails
  • Typing quotations and other documents
  • Filing and basic administrative task
  • Ordering office supplies/uniforms, etc.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and records
  • XERO data entry
  • Worked with job management software previously

Preferred attributes:

  • Trade and service experience 
  • Operating in a small business
  • Ability to work under supervision, while also being able to use own initiative
  • Equally comfortable working within a team and individually

 About You:

  • You will be a self-starter who enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Each day can be quite different and the office is very fast paced, particularly during the Summer months.
  • You must have good attention to detail
  • You must have the ability to work under pressure in busy periods
  • You must  have excellent written and spoken English
  • This role would suit a mature and responsible person who has XERO experience PLUS general administrative experience
  • You must be willing to commit to a part time role where you will grow with our company

About the role:

Part Time Position, approx. three days per week. Days and time to be discussed in the interview.

The role is an administrative support role where you will be working alongside the full time office staff and service manager to ensure administrative task are completed in time and as requested. Working within a small office, it is essential that you are able to take responsibility for your own workload while being able to adapt to changing administrative needs and priorities.

  • Must be able to work closely with all ages, as you will be sharing a small office
  • You must be able to work under pressure we are busy all year round and have a constant flow of work.
  • Must be able to do many tasks at one time. 
  • Must be available to work all school holidays.
  • The position requires a lot of communication with customers and suppliers on the phone, so well-spoken manner and English is essential for this role
  • The right person for this job will be confident enough to throw them self into a task and not wait to be told or asked 
  • This role will be subject to a 6 month probation period, in conjunction with Fair work Aus regulations.

We will offer training on the following:

Internal processes and procedure training will be provided; however, the suitable candidate MUST be proficient in essential software applications.
