MiTek Asia Pacific is a global leader in the supply of proprietary design software to the prefabricated timber industry. An exciting opportunity exists with this market leader for a full-time Fabrication Account Manager, based in our Melbourne office, who will be part of a team responsible for troubleshooting and resolving our Design Software application implementation, customer support and to become a key member of our staff in Victoria/Tasmania sales area.
This role will encompass all aspects of implementation and customer support for our Design Software for our Victorian/Tasmanian prefabrication customers. This is not just a help desk role it is much more hands-on, and you will have an opportunity to not only work with different customers, systems and requirements but also become an integral part of our team.
This is an exciting position that will allow you to experience the full cycle of software implementation and support, and will include but not limited to the following duties tasks and responsibilities:
Installation and configuration of our software, both remotely and on site
Troubleshooting and solve issues at customer sites
Liaising with customers regarding our Design Software and other implementation requirements
Technical and high-level software support by onsite visits
Keeping all processes and technical methodologies documented and up to date

Your skills should include:
Adaptability at learning new systems and technologies and the ability to self-teach

Ideally, a sound technical and or structural and IT background
You will be dealing with our clients. As such, you must have excellent written communication and articulate verbal communication.
Experience within the timber prefabrication industry is preferable, but not essential.
