VGA has a new opportunity to join the customer-centric team at Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Australia in the role of Senior Business Controller. VCV Australia consists of a network of six dealerships across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Sydney.
Working closely with the Dealer Principal, the Senior Retail Business Controller will draw on their accounting methodologies to provide strategic and financial guidance and governance to ensure that VCV Australia's financial commitments are achieved. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the dealer network adheres rigorously to the group financial policies, internal control procedures and statutory legal requirements.
As a member of the VCV Australia Leadership team, you will work collaboratively with your peers analysing financial information to identify and make recommendations on the wider commercial aspects of the business to capitilize on short-term financial performance and long term sustainable profitability.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels with stand-out interpersonal
Qualified Accountant or Business degree, with an Accounting major
5+ years experience in management accounting disciplines gained within a Commercial or Retail business environment
Advanced level in computer modelling, excel and SAP
Strategic with a strong commercial acumen with experience in developing, implementing and achieving business plans
A self-motivated and proactive professional willing to go the extra mile
Flexibility to travel frequently across the region with some international travel.
