Senior Production Scheduling role, Purchasing/Procurement remit, South-East Location.

In this role you will implement the site scheduling for the zero-12-week horizon to ensure all customer orders are executed efficiently and on time. You will also be tasked with managing supply of raw materials on site. In addition, you will also be responsible for:
Managing the Warehouse and Manufacturing crewing requirements & rosters
Liaise with vendors to provide accurate forecasts and procure raw materials
Work with team to resolve availability issues and respond to any short-term unplanned demand requests
Manage costs within budget
Identify and implement initiatives to reduce costs through optimized scheduling
Support Operational Excellence initiatives by identifying continuous improvement opportunities in scheduling and related areas.
To be successful in this role you will be have in-depth knowledge of the supply chain planning process, including S&OP/IBP. You will have experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within food and be able to demonstrate a process driven approach to scheduling and procurement. You will have excellent communication skills and be highly analytical as well as having strong attention to detail. Working knowledge of SAP is essential.
