The Rural Financial Counselling Service, NSW Southern Region is looking for a Small Business Coach based in the Batlow region.
We are looking for a self motivated and energetic person to provide financial counselling and related services to drought or COVID-19 impacted small businesses on a full time or part time basis. We are particularly interested in applicants that have expert industry knowledge in Hospitality, Retail, Health, Tourism, Construction or Finance.
The role of Small Business Coach will focus on helping small business owners access government assistance, analyse their financial situation and to develop and implement strategies and plans to recover and prosper.
Applicants will need to address the following selection criteria:
strong financial literacy including the ability to develop a statement of financial position, cashflow and budget.
strong understanding of small business issues and business management.
business planning skills, including the ability to develop business plans.
ability to relate to and empathise with small business owners effected by natural disaster.
design and promote innovative ways we can communicate with our customers and value add to the customer experience
A car is provided and travel will be required but we are more then willing to work with people to develop flexible working arrangements to suit their current circumstance.
Preference will be given to applicants with business and financial management skills and qualifications. A remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant, commensurate with skills and experience.
