About the role: We have on offer a permanent full-time position. You will have the ability to work across our Caboolture and Maroochydore locations when required, with flexibility. As a valuable addition to the Untiywater Procurement team, you will responsible for strategic sourcing. You will be responsible for strategic procurement planning (including drafting of procurement strategies and market analysis), preparation of RFx (Request For Information / Proposal / Quotation / Tender) documentation, facilitation of evaluation panels and leading negotiations with suppliers. You will also prepare and obtain approval of contract recommendations and finalise contract documentation for award as well as the preparation of contract management plans and support contract managers to close out contracts specifically within the field of Construction.

Degree Qualification in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience relating to procurement strategies including selection of appropriate procurement models.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development, assessment and delivery of tenders, quotation/contractual documentation and expressions of interest preferably within a utility, energy or EPC contractor within Australia.
A thorough understanding and application of the contract management process.
High level written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate optimal commercial outcomes for the business.
Well-developed interpersonal and relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to participate as part of a team, sharing information and supporting others and contributing to a positive work environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated effective time management and prioritisation skills.
Experience in the Microsoft suite of products and procurement and finance systems such as Technology One, Scout and Contract 6.
Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply membership and qualifications at an appropriate level or relevant experience and/or education/training.
