BCE Surveying is a national Surveying and Spatial company that has operated in a commercial capacity since 1994 with offices in Bunbury, Perth and Sydney, NSW.

We have a long history in the provision of professional services and spatial products including Mobile and Terrestrial Laser Scanning, Licensed and Engineering Surveying, Aerial Mapping and Utility Location.

The Opportunity

Having recently re-structured operations BCE Surveying is now seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor / Operations Manager to join a dynamic management team as the Operations Manager for our WA offices. This position is responsible for the overall day to day functions of the business and management of projects in the Metropolitan Region as well as building relationships with current and future clients. The role will be centrally located in our Perth Offices and provide additional support to our Bunbury operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day operations of the business
  • Support all levels of management in various aspects of business operations
  • Drive a positive safety culture throughout your team.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgets.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients ensuring repeat and ongoing business.
  • Help source, develop and maintain a team of innovative & motivated Surveying / Spatial professionals.
  • Client engagement and Business Development

What you will need for this role

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic leading from the front
  • Experience in all aspects of Spatial / Surveying functions.
  • Experience in the following software.
    • Civilcad\Magnet
    • TBC
    • Autocad & Civil 3D
  • Experience with surveying hardware including GPS, Total Stations, laser scanners & UAVs
  • High level of integrity, discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Sound management, communication and organisational skills
  • Current Australian drivers licence.
  • Minimum of 7+ years experience.
  • Minimum Degree or Diploma of Surveying.
  • Previous Senior Management experience preferred
