Flowlink Enterprises Pty Ltd (FEPL) is a stocking distributor and supplier of flow control products including valves, actuation, instrumentation, controls filtration and associated accessories to Oil & Gas, Oil Refining, Power, Metals & Minerals, Manufacturing, Water and Waste Water and general industries.

FEPL is based in Queensland and is looking to expand this market segment.

With continued growth we have an opportunity for a driven and results focused External Technical Sales Professional to join the successful Team.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible to support our existing customer base and generating new business in the region and interstate.

This role requires a self-starter with excellent knowledge of the valve market in Queensland and interstate. Its a hands-on role and will require you to have the in-depth market intelligence combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Being able to deliver sustained growth to an existing crowded space will be the key challenge for any highly motivated individual.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining existing business relationships with key customers
  • Developing New sales within the Oil & Gas, Oil Refining, Power, Metals & Minerals, Manufacturing, Water and Waste Water and general industries.
  • Liaising with customers and Engineering Houses during regarding projects bids and product selection
  • Identifying and investigating growth opportunities - Projects & MRO
  • Provide accurate reporting and feedback to management for strategic initiatives
  • Ensuring company goals and targets are achieved

To be considered for this role the following skills and experience are essential:

  • Must have previous sales experience in a similar role within the valve, control and automation Industry
  • Strong customer focus and can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and good work ethic
  • High Business acumen with a professional personality
  • Strong initiative & the ability to drive the business forward.
  • Be a highly motivated individual, with excellent communication skills
