Warehouse Supervisor

The Position:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join Tigers International, global logistics and freight forwarding company. This role will be based at our Yennora site in New South Wales. Your role will lead the operation of allocated warehouse customers, supervising a small team to meet service objectives, while remaining compliant with all Safety and Security standards and regulations.

Some of the duties will be:

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and enforcing Tigers policies and OHS standards to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
  • To plan, schedule and execute the most cost effective and efficient way of processing orders to meet the requirements of new and existing customers.
  • Overseeing warehouse section to meet KPIs & customer SLAs.
  • Ensuring accurate timely reporting is provided to the management and customers.
  • Providing feedback on current practices and metrics to continuously streamline operational processes.
  • Managing labour planning to maximize ability to achieve daily cut off.
  • Conducting weekly/monthly toolbox meetings.
  • Maintaining customer relations internally and externally to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Building & promoting a team environment that works collaboratively.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Liaise with customers, labour agencies, coordinate shift activity and supervision of employees
  • Review operations schedule and keep stock records updated
  • Schedule jobs and plan labour to ensure delivery windows are met
  • Set up jobs to ensure maximum productivity
  • Ensure all new employees are given training & assistance in new warehouse systems and new processes.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • You have experience working in a 3PL warehouse.
  • You are flexible to work various hours in line with operational requirements.
  • Warehouse operating hours 06:00 am to 06:00 pm, core hours being 07:30 am to 03:30 pm.
  • You have good communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to engage with a range of key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both the team and customers.
  • You are solution focused and proactive.
  • You have high level of competency in WMS and MS Office.
