ABOUT US

The Bradman Centre, located in beautiful Bowral NSW, is an iconic tourist destination for all things Cricket.

Our vision is to be the Cultural and Heritage Partner for Cricket which includes being an advocate for playing the game as 'it should be played.'

Coming out of COVID-19, we intend to re-engage with our members and visitors through a series of events and functions that will be promoted to members and the public on a variety of social media platforms.

Key outcomes include:

- Develop a Bradman marquee Festival of Cricket event to be held in Bowral.

- Undertake a national membership drive which includes opportunities to attend events.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator/Marketing Assistant to join our dedicated team in Bowral.

A fast-paced and varied position, the roles primary function will be assisting our appointed marketing team. The ideal person for this role will have exceptional communication skills, experience with both the planning and executing of events as well as standout organisational skills.

Key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to: 

  • The coordination and planning of events in Bowral both on and offsite - including Museum tour groups, Corporate Forums, Members nights, and Cricket Match events. 
  • Create pre and post-event communications.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to set, manage, and report on event expenditure to ensure they are within budget.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on varied event & marketing tasks as well as personally promote and host events

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an events coordinator with some marketing experience
  • Attention to detail is a must and accuracy is paramount to the role 
  • Excellent computer and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proven ability to work independently and autonomously while also able to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player, must lead by example
  • Have cricket knowledge or experience working within the sport of cricket
