What you will be responsible for:
This person will be reporting to and working in association with the Financial Controller. The position is varied however the primary focus will be on providing assistance to the Financial Controller executing efficient procedures, accurate and timely reporting to general managers and board members.
Checking and Processing daily payments.
Preparing and Monitoring & tracking receivables and payment schedule.
Bank and Accounts Reconciliations, including inter-company accounts.
Prepare Month-end and year-end closing journals and accruals.
Monthly Trust accounting and assist in year end Trust audit.
Preparation and reporting of Payroll, superannuation, PAYG and all related reconciliation and reporting.
Prepare and update Cash Flow Forecast and all accounts registers and schedules.
Assist in reporting and lodgement for BAS/IAS and FBT.
Review and process Franchise returns.
Other bookkeeping and accounting tasks as required.

What Realmark needs from you:
Minimum 2-3-years working in a similar role.
Xero experience preferred but not mandatory, and demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work effectively under tight time frames.
Tertiary degree in accountancy / business preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time
Enthusiasm to work within a team and actively contribute to the practices and processes that will support growth and efficiency
Ability to build new and maintain existing relationships
This position will suit a person who can work independently as well as with a supportive team.
