Have experience working with Local Council Development teams Looking to take your career to the next level Want the responsibility with the support network JC Engineers is currently seeking Practical, Common-Sense Engineers to assist with the strategic growth of our Engineering Consultancy within the Residential & Commercial Development space.

Current works include; Telecommunication Structures, Solar Farm Development, Residential & Commercial Developments, Forensic Reporting, Building Product Assessments, and much more.

Role description and duties;

  • Lead and Coordinate a team of On-Shore and Off-Shore Engineers.
  • Review and identify improvement in Design documentation.
  • Finalise technical documentation (i.e. reports/letters/designs).
  • Achieve set delivery targets and key Business milestones.
  • Liaise with clients, members of the public and subcontractors.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate site inspections when necessary.
  • Coordinate the delivery of project tasks with internal & external resources.
  • Prepare quotations and scope summaries.
  • Prepare and Assess Viability of Local Government and other Industry Tenders.
  • Maintain and build client relationship together with Directors.
  • Support company leaders with day to day tasks, where necessary.
  • Interpret Local Government development specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractors timeframes to meet client committal dates.

To be considered in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (i.e. Engineering or Project Management).
  • Minimum 3 years experience Coordination within Project teams working with and/or liaising with Local Councils on Residential & Commercial developments.
  • RPEQ not necessary, but a desire to achieve this accreditation would be looked upon favourably.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Be able to work autonomously, uphold company policy, procedures and values.
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Outgoing and willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organisational, Time Management and Leadership Skills.
  • Hold an open drivers license and have own vehicle.
