The Opportunity:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Melbourne Finance & Operations team. You will have the opportunity to provide high quality support to the Accounts Receivable team and other Urbis Business Units.

The role will be supported by our highly experienced Accounts Receivable Manager as part of a 4 person team, which is a key part of our national Finance & Operations team.

You will:

  • Undertake collection of overdue accounts for specific ledgers
  • Support with the allocation of payments by way of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and cheque including processing credit cards requests
  • Contribute to client relationship management and communication
  • Attend to copy invoice requests and processing credit notes
  • Conduct client account reconciliations on an ad hoc basis
  • Take responsibility for the collection of overdue accounts through reminder phone calls and emails to debtors

About you:

  • An Accounts Receivable professional with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • An understanding of expense management software (BST experience is desirable)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Passion for Accounts Receivable and debtor management
