Yennora Location, Full time Position, Salary 60K + Super.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
The creation of Purchase Orders for inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
Placing of purchasing requirements on a regular basis by planning and forecasting stock re-order requirements, monitor and follow-up with suppliers
Managing costs by means of strategic sourcing and liaising directly with suppliers
Ensure that data integrity of the inventory ledger is upheld at all times, ie: correct product description, stock quantity balances, product images, accurate buy, sell prices and product profit margins, minimum/maximum stock levels, etc
Process supplier credit claims for instances of pricing errors, discount and rebate claims, discrepancies on delivery etc.
Analysing outstanding purchase order reports on a regular basis
Following up suppliers to ensure delivery times meet our requirements
Counting stock on arrival
Cycle stock counts reconciled to our system
To be successful for this position you should possess the following:
Experience working in a similar role within a fast paced environment
Strong organisational skills, with ability to multi-task, efficiently manage time and prioritize varied workload
Keen eye for details
Good communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal management and staff
Reasonably analytical and have ability to solve purchasing and inventory related problems
Able to work under pressure; at times needing to work with a sense of urgency and to tight deadlines
Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
