Inventory Controller - Yennora

Yennora Location, Full time Position, Salary 60K + Super.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:  

  • The creation of Purchase Orders for inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Placing of purchasing requirements on a regular basis by planning and forecasting stock re-order requirements, monitor and follow-up with suppliers
  • Managing costs by means of strategic sourcing and liaising directly with suppliers
  • Ensure that data integrity of the inventory ledger is upheld at all times, ie: correct product description, stock quantity balances, product images, accurate buy, sell prices and product profit margins, minimum/maximum stock levels, etc
  • Process supplier credit claims for instances of pricing errors, discount and rebate claims, discrepancies on delivery etc.
  • Analysing outstanding purchase order reports on a regular basis
  • Following up suppliers to ensure delivery times meet our requirements
  • Counting stock on arrival
  • Cycle stock counts reconciled to our system

  
To be successful for this position you should possess the following:

  • Experience working in a similar role within a fast paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to multi-task, efficiently manage time and prioritize varied workload
  • Keen eye for details
  • Good communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal management and staff
  • Reasonably analytical and have ability to solve purchasing and inventory related problems
  • Able to work under pressure; at times needing to work with a sense of urgency and to tight deadlines
  • Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
