Maintenance Manager - FMCG Automated DC

Reporting to the Resident Engineering Manager you will be an experienced and confident Maintenance Manager with experience managing technical teams of industrial maintenance tradespeople to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and consistent system performance at your resident site.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, projects delivery and day to day operations of a major DC.
  • Manage a team of 11 onsite trade technicians and team leaders (Electricians/Mechanical Fitters)
  • Proactively locate improvement opportunities in operational process activities.
  • Work closely and nurture positive relationships with the customer, deliver effective communication to site staff and subcontractors to maintain ongoing trust
  • Ensure that all activities across site are delivered to the highest Safety Standards and practices.
  • Manage and control a multi-million dollar budget.
  • Provide Project Support inclusive of Project Management and financial control.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Substantial technical and management experience in the logistics, automation and material handling domain
  • Experience in managing large service contracts, and client accounts, is imperative
  • Excellent relationship builder and ability to manage and motivate a team of experienced service managers
