Business Support Officer - Hobart

Central Hobart location, APS3 - $36.27+super per hour, Long term contracting opportunity.

The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a Business Support Officer to join their Complex Support Needs Team. The role will be based around general administrative assistance to support day to day activities within the team, and to support Planners in their efforts to ensure that participants are well informed about the planning process and have access to the information they require. As a part of the Complex Needs Pathway, you will play a part in being responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the regional office.

This Initial 12-month contract is an APS3 level offering $36.27 + superannuation on an hourly base and is based in Hobart.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • General administrative support to the Complex Support Needs workflow and triage team
  • Management of email and calendar systems
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings
  • Ensure facilities are neat and appropriately prepared for each participant
  • Data entry and record keeping in regards to participant plans
  • Provide information as part of general inquiries
  • Receive and record complaints and feedback
  • Record information provided by participants in the database, ensuring they are assigned for a follow-up


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in office duties
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data entry
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Previous experience within a similar administrative role, providing support to team leadership
  • Previous industry experience in government health or support services
