We are a Private Allied Health Practice offering Occupational Therapy and Dietetics to adults.
We have 25 staff, are family owned and based in Victoria Point.
We are looking for an entry level, adult Administrative Officer with 6-18 months experience who would like to become part of our close-knit team.
This job will suit an entry level administration officer who is looking to train towards Medical / Allied Health reception.
DOTS was started in 2006 by Beth Dermer (Director and OT). We have grown steadily over the years and continue to grow.
While we provide a highly professional and clinically excellent service, we are not a mega-business where staff become just a part of the process. You will be a valuable and integral part of our team.
This role will support our current admin team and work from our paediatric clinic. Our adult team clinical staff are fully mobile and work from home.
You will be carefully trained and fully supported on an ongoing basis.
We offer flexibility in hours with some work possible from home once established.
We require excellent communication skills with a calm approach and clear, friendly phone manner.
Skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are necessary. Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint is helpful.
The role requires you to be based from our clinic, manage incoming clinical notes and reports from staff, manage data, liaison with relevant colleagues and stakeholders (GPs, Community Health Services etc) and following up on referrals. This role is not based at a reception desk but is likely to expand into a reception role in 6-12 months. In the short term, your interactions with our clients and stakeholders will be all phone and email based.
