At the Shire of Mingenew we are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified person to step into the recently reinstated Works Manager role on a part time (0.6FTE) basis.
In addition to supporting the existing planning and management frameworks within the Shires Works and Services division, a key element of this role will include the mentorship and development of the next generation of organisational leaders. With the support of a forward-thinking Council, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting difference to both the organisation, and wider community.

Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in, or a strong understanding of, local government works and services operations, including roads, fleet management, parks and gardens, facilities operations and maintenance. You will also need the communication and interpersonal skills to be an active part of the Shires leadership group, as well as a manager and mentor to those under your supervision.
