We are located in regional Victoria, 11kms west of Meredith Township
The objective of this position is to achieve stable performance on the factory production lines by ensuring the lines are correctly set up, maintained and monitored, and that timely support is provided when problems arise.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate who likes the hands on work, to learn skills from the ground up. To develop your career the opportunities will include working in a team with other engineers on capital expense projects.
The successful applicant will be a great team player with the following skills and attributes
a relevant qualification or equivalent skills and experience
Current drivers licence is essential
High level of analytical ability
A logical approach to problem solving
Excellent communication with a calm disposition
High level of computer literacy including proficiency in excel
Basic electrical understanding
Proven ability to work effectively in a team
Excellent communication, and organisational skills
Able to provide on call support to production;out of hours and weekend within the designated rotation
Participate in the morning line setups.
Ensure all machine settings are correct
Participate in line change overs, ensuring all machine settings are correct
Conduct preventative maintenance procedures for processing equipment, and for factory services as identified in the preventative maintenance program and dairy plant operations
As part of a team, contribute to a continuous improvement environment, including completion of projects
Repair equipment that is not performing to required standards.
Review data reported on SCADA, with a view to anticipating problems that will impinge on production
