Now with 35 full time staff members, we have considerable experience in industrial electrical installations, switchboards and control panels, SCADA and control automation, with further growth strategies currently being implemented. We are currently looking to fill an exciting position for an Automation Engineer to join our rapidly growing Control & Automation team. Specialising in customer focused solutions using cutting-edge hardware and software, we need someone who can bring the next level of capability to our business community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, testing and commissioning of control & automation systems according to project requirements with involvement through entire project life cycle
  • Industrial Networking (LAN/WAN) design and communication infrastructure planning & troubleshooting
  • Performing maintenance and diagnostics on all aspects of associated control systems and automation hardware & software
  • Providing support and training to clients and junior engineering staff as required
  • Assisting in the development of bids, proposals and quotations

Experience & Qualifications

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated experience at a minimum in Allen-Bradley & Siemens S7/TIA PLC, HMI & related automation systems
  • Demonstrated experience at a minimum in Ignition SCADA & Citect SCADA and be familiar with SCADA protocols and standards
  • High level of technical communication & documentation experience
  • Be proactive, self-motivated and operate with minimal or no supervision
  • Desire to push for continual improvements with the business
