We are looking for an experienced sales engineer, who has experience selling custom software solutions to businesses and organisations. Ideally, the candidate should have a technical background or a deep understanding of how custom software solutions are produced and the ability to articulate the benefits this can have for a business. This exciting role will allow you to interact with a wide range of industries, where you can apply your knowledge and experience to help sell custom solutions to help businesses reach their goals. You will be responsible for utilising your existing sales network and building on that sales network to assist in converting leads to clients. An important part of the role is to educate clients on the benefits of custom software and to help clients identify how technology can help their business or organisation. You will have access to experts within the team to assist you in meetings with potential clients, as well as access to a range of examples to demonstrate the capabilities of the company. Leads which are generated through the marketing activities of the company will be shared amongst yourself and the other members of the sales team. You will be working with a dynamic, enthusiastic team and working closely and reporting directly to the Chief Strategic Officer.

Help drive the growth of the company
Achieve revenue and business objectives
Working closely with customers to understand their business gaps and objectives to help create solutions
Delivering professional presentations and demonstrations to help customers clearly understand our processes
Attract, retain and grow happy customers
Produce and present proposals
Travel interstate and internationally (occasionally)
Required Skills / Experience
To be successful you must have demonstrated experience in :
High-level software solutions understanding
Strategic direction capabilities
Proven sales history in selling custom software (minimum 3 years experience)
Good understanding of business fundamentals
Strong negotiation skills to influence stakeholders
Ability to work independently to achieve objectives
The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
