EMS Group currently has a position opening for an Eastern Sales Representative. Based out of our Head Office in Dubbo, this position is responsible for the sales service of our Eastern Australian clients, maintaining existing relationships and developing new contacts to support our business sales objectives.
Areas of Responsibility:
Implement agreed sales strategy to achieve targets within agreed sales regions or revenue areas
Develop insight and facilitate new business through analysing regional or account potential, initiating, developing and closing sales
Identification of sales opportunities through understanding the current business, seeking expert opinion, and evaluating additional support requirements
Build sales opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with key staff, suppliers, prospects, and clients
Proactively supply balanced and supported information on product, client and market insights
Close sales by overcoming objections and professionally representing the company products and services
Regularly contribute information to enhance sales strategies through evaluation of product performance, identification of opportunities, monitoring of competition and communicating customer feedback
Manage, maintain and assess sales KPIs to provide insight into sales performance
Contribute to sales forecast development by providing regional insight
Provide feedback into the performance of marketing communication and promotions
Assist with preparation of sales forecasts, budgets and regional strategies through proactive communication and provision of customer data or prospect insight
Proactively maintain all company databases and CRM systems with the intention to provide transparency and be accountable for actions
Establish and maintain a network of prospects and customers to support sales activity
Make sales presentations which support the communication of key product features and USPs of company services and equipment over agreed competitors
Oversee administrative tasks relating to sales (i.e. tender processes, invoicing and purchasing, etc.)
Have 2+ years of proven industry experience and knowledge in Underground Hard-rock mining equipment and parts
Has sales experience and industry contacts or knowledge
Able to contribute to the development and implementation of regional sales strategy
Commitment to creating value through sales of refurbished and second hand stock
Ability to develop and maintain strong commercial relationships, build regional knowledge and assist in sales planning and forecasting
Experience in building, developing and maintaining relationships within sales teams which consistently deliver above target performance
This role will assist to identify market opportunities and implement decided strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives as identified in the group budgets. This function requires coordination with other key staff to develop and maintain an effective communication strategy encompassing the needs of the business, its customers and suppliers.
