Key elements for the position

We are seeking an experienced RTO Sales and Marketing Manager whose areas of responsible are described as followed:

  • Identify and explore new opportunities in both domestic and offshore student market
  • Develop new strategies to achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets set by BIA
  • Build and further develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop a high-performance Sales team by mentoring, coaching and inspiring team performance
  • Work on key sales campaigns to drive new registrations
  • Promote a positive and diverse work culture within a small team
  • Utilise sales analytics and metrics to generate and drive sales strategies and processes
  • Provide accurate enrolment advice to prospective students
  • Provide eligibility advice and conduct eligibility assessments based on government funded training opportunities
  • Assist with the preparation of key enrolment documentation
  • Ensure the accurate management of the student database
  • Work to achieve Monthly conversion targets

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Possess tertiary qualification(s) in Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, Recruitment, or relevant work experiences
  • Demonstrated experience in student recruitment in education sector
  • Proven ability to build rapports with prospective students and agents
  • Possess a professional level of written and verbal English skills. Bilingual ability is a plus.

Desired Criteria:

  • Experience in utilising Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Experience in liaising with industry/education stake holders
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience, preferably within a call centre or similar sales environment
  • Previous RTO experience would be highly regarded but not essential
  • A confident and professional phone manner
  • Able to build rapport quickly and easily with a diverse client demographic
  • Excellent negotiation skills: you will consider yourself a good listener who can create training solutions based on prospective students' goals
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and a positive attitude
