Full Range Fire Safety is an expanding, exciting company based in Sydney CBD. Specialising in electrical fire installation, fault finding, maintenance and programming. We are currently looking for an experienced Technician/Electrician to become part of our team and help continue the growth in the installation sector of our business and get well and truly rewarded for doing so. Sliding pay rate based on experience, attitude and workmanship. With plenty of OT offered and ample opportunity to move up through our ever-growing company. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Project work to install, commission and test commercial Automatic Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and EWIS
  • Project work to install, commission and test Exit & Emergency Lighting
  • Routine Servicing of commercial Automatic Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and EWIS to Australian Standards
  • Fault or defect identification relating to the operation of these systems and recommending remedial repairs
  • Competency and experience with the operation of Automatic Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and EWIS
  • Work closely with the Manager and other team members to ensure work is completed as scheduled and within the required timeframe
  • Accurately and clearly complete on-site logbooks and attendance documentation
  • Recording and entering data into database using a laptop and phone

To be a successful applicant you MUST have:

  • A clear knowledge of testing fire systems
  • Experience as an electrical installer
  • The ability to work autonomously from plans and drawings
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and work ethic
  • Be a team player willing to work towards a common goal
  • A current full NSW Driver's License
  • An OH&S White Card 
  • A current NSW electrical license is desirable but not essential
