The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people across the southern half of the Northern Territoryan area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.
We are currently seeking a suitable qualified candidate for the following position:
LAND MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION OFFICER LM009 Alice Springs
CL 3 CL 4 (Commencing at $57,239 progressing to $69,270)
This Aboriginal Identified position is responsible for providing administrative, logistical and information management support to the Manager and staff of the Land Management section. You will have the opportunity to support and work with staff in Alice Springs along with a network of remotely based CLC Ranger groups engaged in natural and cultural resource management activities across the CLC region. The ideal candidate will need to be well organised with demonstrated experience in administrative tasks such as preparation of correspondence, working to deadlines and knowledge in Microsoft packages. The successful candidate will have a certificate III or higher in Business or a similar qualification.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
