Administration / Brokers Assistant

Guardsafe Insurance Brokers are a growing boutique brokerage based in the Redlands.  Guardsafe are an Authorised Representative of EBN Holdings Pty Ltd who are part of the Steadfast Group.  For over 11 years we have been delivery exceptional customer service through extensive product knowledge.  We specialise in Commercial and SME Insurance.

About the role

We are seeking a brokers/administration assistant (approximately 15-20 hours pw) to provide general administration and support to our brokers on a part time basis.

As an assistant within the office your main responsibilities will be:

  • General office administration
  • Supporting the brokers with preparing New Business, Renewals, Endorsements documents
  • Processing of transactions/data entry
  • Claims Lodgement
  • File Management

Skills and experience

  • A minimum 1 years experience in the Insurance Industry
  • Confident communication skills with a customer focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong competency with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative and be well organised.
  • Attention to detail
  • Tier 2 (Broking) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Understanding of Insurance products and terminology
  • Winbeat, Sunrise and Officetech experience highly regarded
  • Eagerness to learn and develop knowledge & skills
  • Accurate file management
