We specialise in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, disaster shelters and plant growth facilities, as well as tracking, remote diagnostics and a range of electronic equipment including cap lamps and gas monitoring.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join the team at our facility in Kewdale, Perth.  Reporting to the Administration Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors - meeting, greeting, and directing visitors
  • Maintaining the boardroom - set up for meetings, clean up and calendar management
  • Assist with IT support requests new users, easy trouble shooting
  • Maintaining the VOIP phone system. Trouble shooting, setting up extensions and phone list
  • Onboarding assistance set up new users in induction system, set up computers and phones and collate welcome packs.
  • Electronic filing of accounts
  • Ordering stationary and maintaining required levels.
  • Visitor registration sign in /out procedure, name badges, announcing arrival.
  • Maintenance requests
  • Printing, laminating binding and scanning of documents.  
  • Organise confidential document bins
  • Point of contact for cleaners
  • Point of contact for printer services
  • Catering for monthly team get togethers, training schools and business lunches etc
  • Updating reception procedures
  • Post and banking
  • Filing, archiving
  • Ad hoc as required.

 

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred
  • Good communication skills
  •  Excellent computer skills
  • Experience working within an ERP System would be an advantage (SAP, Pronto etc)
  • Proficient in the use of office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Candidate will be systematic and will uphold company procedures on every occasion
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation including Senior Management
  • Contribute to the culture and values of the organisation.
