Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.
We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.
We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

Were in the process of upgrading Sydneys infrastructure, with ambitious projects already underway to tackle congestion and keep Sydney moving. We currently have multiple opportunities for Project Engineers to be part of our Sydney Project Delivery branch to work on M4-M5 link project.
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will be enabled to work independently and autonomously, setting your own goals and timelines from early on and taking pride in delivering your work to the highest standards. You will be provided with opportunities to learn and develop your skills, working closely with industry leading experts in the road infrastructure space as they relate to our extensive portfolio.

In addition to holding a relevant four year engineering degree, and experience working in the civil and environmental engineering space, we are looking for a Project Engineer who can demonstrate a dedicated work ethic and positive attitude.
You will have demonstrated understanding of road and or bridge construction / maintenance and quality management in project and/or contract control. Most importantly, you are team player who is solutions focused and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders to approach various challenges as they arise.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Engineer Level 3 ($124,890 - $136,484) per annum plus superannuation.
