MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic marketing all-rounder, with a passion for digital. In this role, you will have responsibility for all social media channels, webpage development and promotional material production. You will use your knowledge to produce relevant content, to generate leads and to build awareness. 

Our ideal candidate will be someone from a strong digital/social media background with some experience in print and online advertising. The candidate will demonstrate good copywriting skills and an artistic flair to be applied across our Facebook, print media and electronic media platforms. Some grant submission writing experience is also possible for a suitably qualified applicant.

You will be working closely with the Executive Officer to produce, consistent multi-platform messaging, a content schedule and dynamic electronic delivery strategies.

KEY TASKS

  • Ability to plan and create engaging social content
  • Experienced in SEO and PPC activities, with strong communication and copywriting skills
  • Understanding of print and digital advertising; ability to develop briefs and direct graphic designers and web designers/developers 
  • Document production
  • Develop professional relationships with external partners, including key stakeholders to ensure content is current and relevant 
  • Updating and maintaining our CRM with product and client information to enhance delivery markets and strategies
  • Updating and managing the front end of the website with new content and product information.

This job entails some travel throughout Western Victoria and working remotely from home. Position location is negotiable with some work to be done out of our Hamilton office and the rest on location/remotely. We are a family friendly employer. The time fraction for this job is negotiable up to 0.6FTE initially. The time fraction maybe expanded depending on skills and experience. Salary range is $45,000 to 60,000 per annum pro rata based on time fraction, experience and qualifications
