About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can supervise, lead and support the Key Accounts and Business Development (BD) team whilst working alongside ASA in order to implement successful BD and client retention strategies through high-quality customer service and support.

You will be required to:

  • Supervise, lead and support your team to achieve set KPI’s
  • Actively engage with clients in order to provide on-going support
  • Execute the client retention and growth strategy in order to drive new business, identify new client opportunities, grow in the market and increase client loyalty and retention
  • Build strong relationships with ASA key clients and execute high-quality account management processes to meet the needs of the clients
  • Promote ASA to clients and new customers through networking, presentations and events.

All ASA roles are based on the AASN contract which CCIWA has held for over 20 years. At the start of February, we began our new contract with the government which will go until the end of 2022 with the potential for an additional 3 years.  

About you
We are looking for someone who has:

  • Certificate IV in Business or equivalent
  • An understanding and knowledge of the Australian Apprenticeship system
  • Key account management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of organisational skills in order to deliver a structured BD and retention plan 
  • Experience in building and managing a strong network of clients; and the ability to win new clients
  • Ability to build and retain networks across various stakeholders such as employers, registered training organisations, government bodies, schools, community organisations within the VET sector
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and the ability to present to groups

A current drivers licence is required as you will be required to travel within your designated area.
  
To be successful you must be able to obtain a clear Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children’s check.
