Administration Officer - Home Modification and Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced, well organised and dedicated Administration Officer who will be located in our Port Macquarie office.

Under the general direction of the Home Modifications and Maintenance Manager, the Administration Officer is responsible for the support services required to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to clients.  This position provides support to the manager, supervisors, and other team members as required.

The position involves meticulous organisational, negotiation, problem solving and communication skills and is the key point of contact with clients and service providers in the day to day modification and maintenance services in conjunction with the manager.

If you have superior time management and organisation skills and experience in maintaining administration systems, displaying a high attention to detail and meeting compliance requirements following set procedures, we would like to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be reliable and flexible and demonstrate the ability to adapt to change, show initiative and strive for continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria

  1. Previous administration experience, preferably in a construction environment
  2. Comfortable and proficient in using Microsoft programmes and other operating systems
  3. Previous experience in invoicing preferred
  4. Knowledge and understanding of WHS requirements
  5. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
  6. Ability to schedule workloads and meet deadlines
  7. Ability to work as part of a team and work unsupervised.  Ability to accept direction from management.
  8. Ability to relate to clients and community members and to maintain absolute confidentiality
  9. Current drivers licence preferred by not necessary
