We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Senior Accounts Officer candidates who are proactive, highly motivated and passionate about their role and the clients they serve.
The successful candidate will build a long lasting, mutually beneficial relationship with our company and clients to ensure effective accounts strategies are implemented to meet the operational requirements of the business.
Essential Skills and Criteria
Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Accounting or Bookkeeping;
Proven minimum 5 years experience in a similar role;
Proficient intermediate to advanced competency in MS Office suite
Skilled knowledge and expert proficiency in all facets of MYOB including payroll, inventory, purchasing and invoicing functions;
Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Established outstanding ability to develop honest and trustworthy rapport with clients and colleagues.
Proven effective organisational capability to manage work priorities and meet deadlines;
Determined skilled resourcefulness with an adaptable attitude; and
Displayed analytical thinking with developed problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills and Criteria
Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Frontline Management;
Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business Administration;
Current WA Drivers Licence;
National Police Clearance Certificate (valid within 3 months);
Construction Industry White Card; and
Experience using SmartSheet electronic job tracking system.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions;
Compiling and sending invoices for EOS Electrical and associated entities;
Managing end of month processes and reporting including BAS and GST lodgements;
Performing accurate data entry for accounts, purchase orders, invoices and delivery dockets;
Organising job sheet and invoice processes to ensure seamless process operations;
Creating purchase orders, inventory and materials list for EOS Electrical and all associated entities; and
Ensuring all financial and accounts administrative information is kept strictly private and confidential.
The successful candidate must have a professional, positive demeanour and be willing to perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
