Rapid Media is a media strategy, creative and production capable advertising agency with a specialty in data attribution and automation to enable real time decisions in marketing investment across both ATL and Digital media channels.

Due to Rapids plans to grow our presence in the Melbourne market, we are seeking an experienced SEO & Paid Search Specialist to join our team and work with some fantastic clients on their ongoing digital campaign requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working on the tools to create constant improvement in the SEO outcomes of our agencys clients
  • Working with the rest of the performance and digital team at Rapid Media to deliver and evolve strong SEO & SEM strategies, campaigns and promotions across all main performance channels (Google Ads, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) for our rostered clients.
  • Tracking, reporting, and analysing organic rankings on all search engines
  • Optimising copy and landing pages for search engine optimisation
  • Performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimisation
  • Managing all SEO aspects and online organic reputation of our key clients
  • Researching and implementing search engine optimisation recommendations
  • Researching and analysing competitor websites and online presence
  • Recommending changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Developing and communicating recommendations for optimisations and paid strategies for our various rostered clients based on data & trend analysis and then being a competent professional in presenting / communicating these recommendations and results to our clients face to face and with disciplined reporting cycles.
  • Setting up conversion tags/pixels, measuring, interpreting and creating insights for our clients important business metrics, eCommerce goals and sales etc;
  • Working with our digital and performance teams to create highly effective strategies across paid search and paid social channels for our clients and our internal projects.
  • Assisting our digital team in client database management for our clients including the creation and execution of multi touchpoint EDM campaigns. (Salesforce experience would be highly regarded).
  • Learning our proprietary IP and systems in the field of Informatics and automated campaign measurement and using them to create a speed to market advantage for our clients.
  • Writing ad copy for Paid Search campaigns for our clients that is best practice and strategically designed to assist them in generating greater conversion rates than their competitive sets;
  • Analyse datasets to identify key areas for optimisation and improvement using our Informatic Communications Investment technology platform. 
  • Assisting the Managing Director and the rest of the Rapid Media team in pitching for and winning new business for the agencies continued growth

Skills & Experience; Our Selection Criteria

  • A staff member who has the technical ability and the drive to provide our clients with best practice SEO strategy and implementation and will seek constant improvement in their skill set so we can remain at the forefront of competitive advantage for our clients.
  • Proven extensive experience developing and implementing SEO & SEM campaigns for a variety of product and service categories
  • Experience in setting up granular digital campaigns for multi-franchise multi location businesses and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on helping them establish their digital presence and rankings efficiently and effectively.
  • Proven experience in devising, creating, implementing and reporting on SEO strategies
  • Proven experience in devising, creating, implementing and reporting on SEM strategies
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and various SEO toolsets, such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl to effectively generate insights and propose and implement campaign optimisations.
  • Hands on experience with website audits, competitive analysis and large-scale site migrations will be highly desirable
  • Knowledge and proven experience across the various elements of SEO, including technical audits, onsite optimisation and offsite activities
  • Ability to work autonomously taking ownership of your work, and also collaboratively as part of a larger team that will be servicing our clients to ensure all agency functions of strategy, planning, buying and creative development are aligned and focussed on client objectives.
  • A staff member with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • The desire to progress their career into a management role once established in our business and a willingness to help develop the skills of colleagues in the specialty areas of digital marketing to create greater service capacity for our clients and support for themselves within our agency.
  • The ability to be commercially minded and results focussed for our clients and our agency to be successful.

Salary Range

  • 90K 120K per annum depending on skills and experience
