Payroll Administrator

The position:

Due to a newly created Shared Services team our client is looking for an experienced payroll administrator to join their team. Based in a central location in Parramatta, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing time attendance and payroll records.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.
  • Complying with payroll processes and legislative obligations for accurate and timely delivery of all payrolls.
  • Ongoing evaluation of payroll to ensure accuracy and avoid overpayments and off cycle payments.
  • Management of payroll ticketing system and responding to payroll queries within agreed service level timeframes

To ensure your success you must possess:

  • Experience in a payroll operating system preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn from feedback and experience.
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment and prioritise workload.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to work additional hours to meet payroll deadlines and demand.
  • As part of the recruitment process you will need to successfully complete an online Pre-employment Medical Assessment.
