Administration Assistant/Receptionist

Moffat & Morton is a boutique professional accounting firm located on the CBD fringe, specialising in tax, accounting and business advisory services.

We are seeking a receptionist/administration assistant to support our professional team members working 4 days per week 9am -2.30pm (some flexibility available).

Role

  • Assist the directors in day to day duties and provide support to wider team where needed
  • Answering telephone calls 
  • Handling internal & external communications, including attending to ATO mail
  • Diary and travel arrangement management
  • Maintaining client information in Handisoft 
  • Scanning, filing and electronic document management
  • Processing of ASIC Annual Returns and assistance with processing of corporate secretarial work 
  • Adhoc duties as required

Skills and experience

  • High attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Outstanding time management and ability to prioritise
  • Advance Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Word
  • Experience with ATO, ASIC, Handisoft would be ideal
  • Experience in an administration role within an accounting, legal or financial planning firm desirable
  • Positive and friendly attitude
