We're looking for a motivated and creative Architect to join our team, starting IMMEDIATELY. Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, colour, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of structure.
Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
Plan layout of project.
Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
Prepare scale drawings.
Integrate engineering element into unified design.
Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
Administer construction contracts.
Represent client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
Prepare operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports.
Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in architecture, design or related field (M.Arch preferred)
2+ years of work experience in design and documentation
Revit experience essential
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
An understanding of NCC requirements
Experience in Education projects
Team work skills
Proven track record in developing and delivering documentation
Experience in working on complex design projects
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated and pro-active
Understanding of project delivery dates
