The Role
Reporting to the Group Chief Executive, this key senior leadership position will be responsible for providing strategic advice and leadership across the finance, accounting, payroll, commercial, procurement, facilities management, and legal services areas. The position has both strategic and operational elements that support good governance, identifying new opportunities and executing the corporate strategy and business plan.

Required Skills / Experience / Knowledge/ Education

  • Track record of success at a senior finance executive level working with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board as a key member of the executive team.
  • Proven ability to lead a high performing finance and commercial services function and team in a large complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated performance improvement experience and a history of successful project and change management expertise.
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders and able to build collaborative relationships.
  • Inclusive and empowering leadership style combined with the ability to develop and coach others.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and financial savvy
  • An ability to work autonomously and take an active role in innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience in the health and/or public would be desirable but open to considering finance executives from other sectors.
  • Relevant Tertiary and Post Graduate Qualifications in a related discipline.
