Flexible working options.Owing to an internal move within our People & Culture team, we have a new vacancy for a Senior Talent Acquisition Lead to join our QLD talent team.

The Role

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will manage a small team of Talent Acquisition Advisors who provide end-to-end talent acquisition services to the business across Queensland. Furthermore, this role will manage a personal portfolio of roles as well as delivery of several key continuous improvement and candidate pipelining initiatives across the talent acquisition function including international sourcing.

This role will play a vital role in engaging and attracting talent to support the organisations strategic objectives, build its employer brand and secure a strong future growth plan.

In addition, you will:
· Act as the Senior Advisor and escalation point for all talent acquisition queries and issues for your team.
· Support hiring managers with job design, position description review, sourcing, phone screening, interviewing (where required), reference checking and offer management.
· Identify skills and knowledge gaps with a view to designing and delivering targeted training programs related to recruitment for lesser experienced talent acquisition team members and hiring leaders alike.
· Design, tailor and facilitate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for the team to meet appropriate staffing levels across your designated business portfolio.
· Develop strategies to reduce time to fill and increase quality of hire. Undertake continuous improvements on recruitment workflows, tool-kits and training, and documentation.
· Impart knowledge and share best practice with broader talent acquisition team as well as wider People & Culture team to keep those involved in talent acquisition upskilled in emerging practices.
· Develop employment brand and attraction strategies through social platforms, collaboration with employment providers, job boards and targeted communications.

You will bring to the role
You will be a proven recruitment professional and have experience in managing a small internal recruitment team and be ready to move onwards and upwards within your career. In addition to this, you will have:
· A proven track record of delivery of continuous improvement programs within talent acquisition teams coupled with strong recruitment framework design and implementation experience.
· Experience in recruiting mid-level to senior roles and a proven ability to develop strong relationships with and influence senior leaders in the provision of recruitment and talent advice.
· Demonstrated expertise in a variety of candidate sourcing methodologies such as web-based sourcing, networking, market mapping, referral programs/management, ATS searches, complex Boolean searches.
· Well-developed organisational, collaboration, problem solving and prioritising skills.
