Air Conditioning Technical Support

Technical support for all customers in Western Australia, Must have Refrigeration trade qualifications & HVAC service experience, Based in our new office in Malaga.

About the opportunity

We have fantastic opportunity for a trade qualified Technical Service professional to become an integral part of our friendly and energetic WA team, supporting business operations throughout Western Australia.

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager this role offers an attractive salary package, a company vehicle as well as office related tools being provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • General support of MHI air conditioning products to the Australian market.
  • General management of Technical Support  in WA.
  • Support the General Manager, Service & Technical and Regional Service Manager with technical and epidemic failure information and parts recovery.
  • Support Service Agents with spare parts selection assistance and technical service and commissioning support via phone, fax or email.
  • Manage the administration of warranty claims with Dealers and Service providers.
  • Manage warranty claim orders within consumer law and MHI warranty guidelines.
  • Liaise with service agents, contractors and consumers.
  • Complete projects and supervise commissioning's on site including reporting with supporting Mente PC Data/E-Solution files.
  • Demonstrate operation of control systems to end users and installation/service contractors as required.
  • Provide product technical training seminars in conjunction with the set agendas.

The preferred candidate will:

  • Full Australian working rights is essential (Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
  • MUST be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with VRF and inverter diagnostics.  
  • Hold relevant trade qualifications and Full Refrigerant and Air-conditioning licence (RAC01) is essential. 
  • Have demonstrable HVAC service and commissioning experience.
  • Have exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of reporting skills (min. intermediate Microsoft Office skills).
  • Demonstrated superior time management and organisational skills.
  • Have superior problem-solving, diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Be self-motivating and able to work autonomously.
