Permanent Position, North Brisbane based, Competitive Salary.
Due to continuous growth and expansion within our Concrete division, Wagners are seeking an experienced Batch Plant Maintenance person to be responsible for the maintenance of all Wagners concrete fixed plants.
Whilst this position will also assist in the process of batching and operating equipment when required, you will primarily be responsible for performing services and maintenance repairs on both plant and equipment.
Responsible for the maintenance of all concrete fixed plants for Wagners;
Performing services and maintenance repairs on both plant and equipment;
Recording of all information and updating of maintenance registers;
Reviewing information from repair requests;
Ensure all daily pre-starts are completed;
Maintenance of all spare parts for fixed plants and mobile equipment;
Liaising with the workshop department for major repairs of equipment and machinery;
Assist in the operations, learn to batch and operate equipment when required; and
Ability to be flexible and work around different rosters to meet various site requirements.
Skills and Experience:
Strong commitment to safe work practices;
Previous Mechanical Trade qualification;
Current Drivers Licence;
Previous experience in batch plant operations and mechanical repairs;
Experience in fixed plant and conveyor systems; and
Experience in fault finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment.
