Fundraiser and Brand Ambassador 0.4FTE

Reporting to the Executive Assistant and focusing on fundraising and branding this varied position is an ideal opportunity to make a real impact in the community.  The role is for 12 months with the possibility of ongoing employment.

The Fundraising and Brand Ambassador will play a diverse role in the areas of fundraising, event management, marketing and administration support.

As a Fundraiser and Brand Ambassador, you will be promoting Masonic Charities, by engaging with stakeholders and the community, and by creating brand experiences through positive interactions.

The perfect candidate for this role will be enthusiastic, with the ability to take initiative, have a can-do, positive attitude.

About Masonic Charities

Masonic Charities stems from the sale of Masonic Homes not-for-profit retirement villages throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The repurposed funds are being used to support health research and community activities throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory which have relevance and alignment with Freemasonrys underlying charter of benevolence. 

Revolving around a number of timeless principles, such as truth, kindness, honour and support, Masonic Charities vision is to drive Freemasonrys ongoing relevance and service throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in program planning;
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining productive relationships;
  • Experience with CRM databases;
  • High level organisational skills and event management experience;
  • Procurement experience;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team;
  • Superior listening, verbal, written communication and presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of Masonic Charities and of the not-for profit sector and/or fundraising principles;
  • Experience / interest in social media and engagement;
  • Current South Australian Drivers license;
  • Current National Police Certificate; and
  • Current DCSI Child-Related Employment Screening.

Personal Profile

  • Previous experience in a fundraising role, retail, hospitality, customer service is highly regarded 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Leadership skills
  • Flexible
  • Sociable
