This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in keeping track of a companys financial transactions and proven ability in the preparation of high quality financial statements.
A proud West Australian business with over 60 employees manufactures and distributes niche products that service the mining sector in multiple locations across Australia.
As the Financial Accountant, you will report to the companys Financial Controller and Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities include:
Accurate financial record keeping including payroll
Ad hoc financial analysis
Involvement in companys improvement processes
Cash flow reporting
Preparation of monthly reports
To be considered for this role the successful candidate will have had experience working in a manufacturing environment together with the following:
Have CA or CPA qualification
5-10 years experience
Be technically strong with an advanced understanding of preparing financial statements and reports
Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well, both verbally and non-verbally
Have advanced analytical skills
Be able to work to competing deadlines
Previous use of Greentree software will be an advantage
