AKC Books requires a part time / casual senior bookkeeper to join our small bookkeeping firm.
The successful candidate will be required to work remotely from their own home office or premises and have 3 or more years work experience in a similar role within Australia, excellent Xero, MYOB & excel software experience and outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) with both clients and other staff members.
The role will include the following:
Overseeing other team members work and queries
Month end reconciliations
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Payroll & superannuation
BAS & IAS lodgements
Payroll Tax lodgements
End to end bookkeeping
Year end preparation for Accountants
To apply for this vacancy, you will need to have excellent organisational skills, be able to juggle numerous clients on any given day, meet deadlines and work independently.
The role is approx. 15 hours per week, flexibility with hours and days worked and have the capacity to work extra hours at busy times of the year with an attractive hourly rate.
Start date preferably by 1st April 2020 but am open to a later start date for the right candidate!
