The Melton Valley Golf Club is situated 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD off the Western Highway. With narrow fairways, undulating greens and numerous water hazards, the course is an enjoyable test for the serious and casual golfer. The course is fully watered with recycled water and is in excellent condition all year round.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager and Greens Committee, the key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintaining the playing surfaces and equipment to a high standard.
Recruitment, Induction, Training and Performance Managing of all staff in the greens department.
Developing and working to budgets. Developing and reporting against the Club's Turf Management Plan.
Maintaining the Club's WHS policies and procedures.
Technical Advancement Remain up to date on all industry developments.
Benchmark standards and supervise technical work such as pesticide application, fertilization, irrigation and equipment maintenance and equipment operations.

The Golf Club pays according to the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2010. A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
