We are looking for a hands-on experienced HR generalist who is a high performing, adaptable practitioner and has demonstrated strengths in being able to work collaboratively and effectively cross culturally as well as remotely from the client group that they support. The HR Business Partner will play a critical role for their client group by delivering HR strategies, practices and initiatives that support business goals, improve organisational performance and delivery and have a clear link to the broader business strategy.
What will your typical day look like
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the provision of high quality, reliable and informed HR support and advice, coaching and supporting managers with the full range of employment cycle and people related activities and initiatives.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
Managing the end to end recruitment activity for the client group
Guiding and coaching our people and project leaders on building high performance teams and driving a values-based culture of accountability
Working closely with the Director of HR to support and drive people and performance allocated initiatives such as:
Deploying an engaging performance management framework
Developing and implementing an onboarding tool that aligns people with our business
Developing and implementing talent retention and succession initiatives for allocated client group
Deploying a robust learning and development annual plan
Collating HR data, metrics and analytics to provide qualitative and quantitative insights to set priorities and inform people strategy decisions.
You will be comfortable in a hands-on, strong recruitment and solutions-focused role that will toggle between an operational, tactical to strategic people and culture agenda.
To succeed, you will also ideally have:
Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience supporting remote client groups in a HR generalist role
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including remuneration practices, employment law compliance, performance management and employee engagement.
An ability and desire to upskill managers and help them thrive through your consulting, collaboration and facilitation skills
Proven business partnering capability – strong relationship management, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Strong business acumen – an ability to align and link HR plans to commercial outcomes
Demonstrated mastery of recruitment and talent management techniques and tools including technology, social media and significant experience in competency and values-based recruitment
A strong systems leaning is essential, previous experience with Page Up and Chris 21 would be advantageous
Strong analytical skills and being a quick learner will be necessary for success as it will enable knowledge building of the allocated client groups across the Asia Pacific region including the interpretation of employment agreements and local labour laws, conditions and cultural nuances
Self-motivated, lateral thinker and comfortable working in fluid and ambiguous environments
