FIFO Perth 8:6 Roster, Long term Project based in the Pilbara, Looking for a dynamic, people-oriented Senior Mining Engineer to join our team.
This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer with a solid background working in the mining industry to assist in the delivery of our Mining project based in WA.
The project is based in the Pilbara and will be FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster.
To be considered for these positions you must possess the following as a minimum:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Production Mining Environment within Australia
Proven Supervisory experience in a high paced productive team
Previous experience working on an Iron ore or Gold Project
Unrestricted Quarry Manager’s Certificate of Competency
Experience in the operation of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi earth moving equipment
Ability to lead, develop and mentor
Current Australian Driver's Licence
As a Senior Mining Engineer reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for:
Deliver safe and optimal short-term planning/scheduling, ventilation and stope design
Design and implement plans and contractor management
Liaise with operation teams to ensure production targets are met
Contributing to continuous improvement projects
Promotion of mine health, safety and environmental policies
