Biesse Group is a global leader in the technology, manufacturing machines and components for processing wood, glass, stone, plastic and metal product industry. 

The role.

Here in the Australia/ New Zealand subsidiary, we require a Sales Professional with long term industry experience looking for the next stage of their career.

In this role you will require to being responsible for sales of a company brand nationally and working closely with a technical Brand Manager and travel both nationally and internationally when required.

If you are someone who is highly motivated, able to work autonomously and with a team, ready to react quickly when needed this is a true sales role, high performers earning 3 x their base salaries with uncapped commission. Your duties. 

  • Promote and sell Biesse Advanced Material products & services within Australia
  • Travel to key capital cities to engage with existing and prospective clients
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities 
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately 
  • Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
  • Manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company e.g. sales administrators quoting process.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, tradeshows and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends and prospect for new business opportunities
  • Maintain and update company CRM (Salesforce)

Essentials

  • Selling of capital machinery experience, desired
  • 8+ years sales / lead generation experience in related industry/fields
  • Ability to frequently travel interstate.
  • Role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne
  • Personal vehicle to use for business travel
  • Proven new business development experience with trade/machinery industry
  • Problem solving and decision making ability
  • Proven experience in sales, ability to manage territory/ client list
  • Self motivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability and hungry to sell
  • Ideal experience as a hardware or machine sales rep
  • Trade equipment selling experience desirable

Base + Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission + Super + Laptop + phone + Fuel card.
